License managment
- Paid Licenses: SkyGuide and SkyGuard (SKG) CT require a paid license. Both offer a trial license for evaluation, valid for 60 days and limited to 90 minutes of use per session. After this time, the application will stop and will need to be restarted.
- SkyWave CT: SkyWave CT is available with a free license and includes a trial generic model limited to coarse collimation (scores below 6) and coma analysis. For fine collimation (scores ≥ 6) and extended functionality, specific models tailored to your use case must be purchased.
- SKG CT Licenses: SkyGuide and SkyGuard (SKG) CT licenses include the SKW-Collimator (CT) trial generic model. To perform proper collimation, users must purchase a model compatible with their telescope, similar to SkyWave CT.
- License Keys: Both SKG (SkyGuide/SkyGuard) and SKW (SkyWave) licenses are machine-specific and linked to a unique license key.
- Trial Models: SKW CT provides a free trial generic model for every configured instrument. This model is limited to coarse collimation (scores below 6) and coma analysis.
